Set up notice schedules

LX Starter communicates with your Polaris or Sierra ILS to send notices to patrons. Your ILS settings determine when the ILS sends notices to the LX Starter queue. You can select the time and frequency that LX Starter checks the queue and sends each notice type. Innovative strongly recommends that you allow time after the ILS sends the notices for LX Starter to check the queue. Don't set LX Starter to check the queue at the same time the ILS sends the notices.

For example, let's say your ILS is configured to send Overdue 1 notices to the LX Starter queue every 24 hours at 8:00 AM. You set LX Starter to send Overdue 1 notices to patrons every 24 hours at 10:00 AM. This ensures that LX Starter includes all queued notices.

Important: LX Starter only sends published notices.
