Add showcases to emails

If you have a Vega Discover license, you can add a showcase with up to five books to your emails. You can search for your previously published Vega showcases from the email editor. Books in the showcase are automatically linked to the library catalog.

You cannot edit the showcase after you publish the email.

To add a showcase to an email

  1. On the Sequences tab, select a notice.
  2. Select Edit Template Design.
  3. Drag the Showcase tool where you want to put the showcase in the email.
  4. Select a book placeholder.

    5. The Content panel opens.

  5. In the Showcase section, search for and select an existing Vega Discover showcase.

    6. The email editor shows the first five books in the showcase.

  6. From the Book covers shown list, select the number of book covers you want to show.

    7. You can display up to five covers.

  7. If you want to include the View all link, select the toggle.

    8. When patrons select the link in the email, they go to the showcase in Vega Discover.

  8. Do the following:

  9. Do one of the following:
    • Enter the amount of padding you want to apply to all sides of the showcase.
    • If you want to define individual padding values around the showcase, select More Options and enter the values.

  11. Select Save Changes.
